Australian indie developer Jerrel Dulay has announced that he's bringing 7 caller titles to the Wii U and 3DS eShops this twelvemonth – despite the information that Nintendo is closing the integer storefronts for the 2 systems.
In a property release, Dulay states that the determination was successful effect to the quality of the closure, and "significant instrumentality demand" for the games.
Here's Dulay's statement:
We person announced 7 caller titles to motorboat exclusive connected Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. What!? Why!? In effect to Nintendo’s caller announcement of the extremity of eShop income for Wii U and 3DS, and arsenic a effect of important instrumentality demand, we are bringing 7 last games to these consoles. Most of these titles were games we had successful improvement for the Wii U and 3DS already, but either moved main improvement to the Switch oregon cancelled entirely. After immoderate treatment with Nintendo, we organized bringing these titles backmost to the Wii U and 3DS arsenic a mode to observe those consoles and the eShop.
